This Friday night at Club Lambi, our very own Po Lazarus, will be launching their much anticipated debut album, Ways To End The Night. By fusing rock and roll, folk, and blues, this four piece band delivers a raw and powerful tone effortlessly. I first caught Po Lazarus at the Holy Kowachella event at The Mother Ship back in August and I was immediately blown away. Lead singer, Joshua Carey, has a voice of purpose and meaning. His voice cuts its way through the thick crowd buzz to deliver a grandiose story. Accompanied by a rich guitar sound, deep bass and beefy drums, Po Lazarus generates a warm ambiance that embraces the audience into a melancholic trance. Need more convincing? Well, Po Lazarus is releasing a limited amount of cover variants for their first CD pressing and the only way to get it is if you attend the show.
So instead of hitting the clubs on Saint-Laurent this Friday night, indulge yourself in a heartfelt performance at Club Lambi and support your local Montreal artists.
About Vincenzo Mariano
An amateur historian with a passion for novels, poems, and music, ready to share his thoughts with the world. As a musician, I frequently explore Montreal bars/venues to further introduce myself with local talent. In doing so, I wish to broaden my musical vocabulary while generating new networks of communication with fellow musicians. Montreal has an abundant source of musical talent that needs to be heard by local citizens. I would like to introduce locals to this underground community scene.
