Last year, a couple of us decided to be sporadic. So we booked a little motel room and headed out to Baie St-Paul to see what Le Festif! was all about. We went there expecting to catch a few good shows, hang out in a charming little town by the water and relax. Seriously. That’s what we thought.
We did NOT relax. .. BUT we ended up having the time of our summer. (read all about it here).
It wasn’t very surprising that we were counting down the days until this year’s lineup was revealed. But we were nervous: was it safe to think we could make this our top festival a second year in a row?
Yes. Yes it was. And ladies and gents, our hotel rooms are already booked.
The festival will feature both international and local artists, old and new. We’ve got Half Moon Run, The Cat Empire, and DJ Champion et ses G-Strings headlining which right there, makes it all worth it.
The Barr Brothers, Safia Nolin, Basia Bulat, Les Soeurs Boulay, Ariane Moffatt, Dead Obies, and Duchess Says are only some of the other artists you’ll be able to check out. An to make it all even better, the good folks at Le Festif! have hinted that we should expect few surprise shows happening over the 4 day festival.
Get on this now, boys and girls. Because things like these tend to get too popular too fast.
