LIFESTYLE

Our Favourite Discover-Local-Artists Events

Because hey, it’s important.

Puces Pop

Both the summer and winter editions  were a massive hit.  And we think that two week-ends might just not be enough anymore.

Exhibits at Station 16

Whatisadam, NYC meets MTL, just to name a few exhibits featuring great local artists.  But really, any excuse is good to check out this art gallery.

Annual Art & Tattoo Convention

Pretty self-explanatory.  But in a tattoo obsessed city like Montreal, it’s important to recognize our local cream of the crop.

Passovah Summer Festival

A music festival with over 90% of its acts being Montreal artists.

Festival Fringe St-Ambroise

This festival touches almost all forms of art, giving even the burlesque dancer a chance to show off her moves.

Table Wear Puce POP

Our Favourite New Trends or Activities

Not overpaying for your meal.

Thanks to new restaurants such as Entrepot and L’Gros Luxe, you can now have a decent meal for about 5$. We like.

Cat Café’s

Not a new trend per say, but new to Montreal. Eating and drinking with purry little friends enhances any meals.

Improv-ing your nights

Again, not a new trend, but gaining popularity. Whether it’s by going to Brou-haha or a Montreal Improv friday night show, the art of coming up with funny shit on the spot is getting more and more sought out.
